Scott bought a bag of steer manure (deodorized of course) at Home Depot to spread around all his plants. He hopes this will keep the roots cooler, retain moisture, and add extra nutrients.

What is it?
Small Seeds Big Picture is a fresh-natural-organic growing initiative of the staff and managers of Tarbell’s Restaurant in Phoenix. We’ll soon be including our sister restaurants in Colorado and we hope to be including lots of other people too!
The Beginning
It started on Earth Day, when we gave out organic seed packets to our customers. The staff wanted to plant some too and the conversation turned to how much fun it would be for all of us to give some growin’ a try.
